We Believe…

The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons:  God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth to take His bride, the Church.

Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God.  Through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world.  The only means of being cleansed from sin is through faith in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

The Baptism with the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.  The Baptism with the Holy Spirit is a gift from God.  This experience may be accompanied by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance.

In the resurrection of all people.  The one who dies in his sin without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost and therefore has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or for repentance.  The one who dies in Christ has everlasting life spent in the presence of God.

In Water Baptism by immersion as a direct commandment of our Lord that is for believers only.

In the doctrine of sanctification as a definite yet progressive work of grace.

In healing for the physical ills of the human body that is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and by the laying on of hands.

A simple belief that power or anointing or any other necessary quality can be transmitted from one person to another through the laying on of hands.
