Jeremiah 29:11 speaks over our children that God knows the plans He has for them and it speaks of His desire to bring them to a prosperous future. Our goal is for children to know that the same God who created the universe created them with a specific purpose in mind…they are no accident! The world speaks loudly to our children. We in children’s ministry counter the lies with truth and help children to understand the tools they need to overcome the enemy and his ways.
29:eleven Kids Ministry offers many opportunities for children to learn about and grow in their relationship with God. Numerous methods are used to bring the truths in God’s Word to life – multimedia presentations, puppets, dance, live skits and dramas. The teachings of the house, spoken from Pastor Duane Sheriff, are broken down into the child’s level and taught in such a way that children are able to see how it applies to their lives today.

Between the ages of 5-12 lifelong habits, values, and beliefs are formed that are carried to the grave!

Every day we work to combat the plans that the enemy has against our children. We work to stay ahead of trends that will lure them and destroy them if unchecked. We create church experiences that will rival those with which the world is drawing them with. But our skills and gifts are limited. New soldiers to help in this battle are needed to bring great ideas and refreshed methods. By volunteering in this department you will have ample opportunity to raise your mighty Sword and make an impact for the Kingdom of God that you have always dreamed of having.

- Being a Mentor and Servant to all the Kids that come to service, that would be just loving on the them!
- Sometimes we have special needs kids that show up and need one on one attention so the parents can enjoy adult service.
- Costume & Prop Design
- Costume and Prop storage and maintenance
- Setup and organization of costumes and props for Sunday services
- Includes Special Events such as Jubilee and Camp
- Set Construction
- Praise and Worship
- Dance
- Skits and Dramas
- Acting in these events
- Producing and directing of these events
- Puppetry
- Writing of Curriculum around Pastors’ Teaching
- Writing for Dramas, Skits and Puppets
- Teaching Opportunities with pre-designed curriculum
- 1-2 grades and 3-6 grades
- Publishing opportunities
- Face book development and maintenance
- MyVictoryLife.tv blogs and maintenance
- Administrative opportunities including:
- Purchase order processing
- Organizing and printing of lesson plans
- Other copy tasks
- Audio/Video Production and Editing including:
- Sound board operation
- Stage Lighting
- iTunes
- EZ Worship
- Camera operation
- Wings Video production
- Adobe Premier & Audition, video & audio editing (Windows based programs)
- Final Cut Pro and Live Type video editing (Apple Macintosh programs)
- Broadcast/Filming production of Sunday morning services and special events
- Special events such as Kids Camp and Jubilee
- Youth programs
- A program designed around the Jr. High age group for mentoring in the areas of servant-hood and leadership. This program is in conjunction with Victory Youth.
- A program designed around mentoring and discipling of 3rd-6th graders that show a servant’s heart.
