Revolution Youth
The way we do ministry at Revolution Youth is simple and similar to the overall house. “Kingdom-focused, relationally driven, organic ministry”. This means that in everything we do, we are set on and only concerned with the Kingdom of Heaven (Matt 6:33 “Seek first the Kingdom of Heaven”). The Christian life is to be devoted to bringing the Kingdom of God by the power of the Holy Spirit into our lives and our world. Only the things that are done with a Kingdom-focused mind will have the power that is needed to truly change our young people.
Our ministry is also relationally driven. The one thing that the church can give to youth in this day and age is the one thing they lack: face-to-face, meaningful relationships with people who can give and receive genuine, godly love. No matter what we do in ministry, we remain effective and useful because of our relationships that bear the fruit of accountability, encouragement, and discipleship. No amount of relevancy, hype, or flashiness can replace the importance of these relationships in our youth ministry.
The fact that we strive for a relationally driven ministry is directly related to our emphasis on being organic. The church is an organism, not an organization. Deep, meaningful relationships cannot be obtained through programs or committees. We long to create opportunities for Kingdom-focused, relationally driven ministry to take place in a natural, comfortable environment.
At Revolution Youth we do ministry through four specific avenues, or initiatives. These initiatives are LoveINdeed, The Call, The Encounter, and The Uprising Network. LoveINdeed is our outreach initiative in which the heart is to reach our community and world while creating the servants heart that Jesus modeled in each youth involved. The Call is our leadership development initiate. The goal of The Call is to truly disciple and train aspiring leaders in the work of the kingdom while helping them to hear the voice of God for their specific call. The Encounter is focused on our weekly services and any events that we hold throughout the year. The Encounter is our basis for fellowship and building relationship while worshiping corporately and encouraging the saints to good works and a deeper relationship with The Lord. The Uprising Network is our small group initiative. It is where we cultivate and maintain a life of accountability, encouragement, community, and family within the body of believers.
We have a lot of ways to easily get involved and participate in Revolution Youth Ministries. We have fun, exciting, and powerful summer camps, guy and girl specific retreats that are perfect for building good relationships, and other beneficial events throughout the year. Aside from our events, anyone is more than welcome to get involved with our weekly services, small group times, or outreach projects. We welcome you to be apart of this awesome work that God is doing.
