Children’s Pastor

Ron Weatherly serves as our children’s church leader. He has a vision to reach out to the children of Sherman, Denison and the surrounding areas with the good news of the Gospel. We are currently holding a Sunday evening service once a month dedicated to reaching out to children, called “Super Slam Sunday.” Super Slam is a fun-filled, action-packed hour where the kids hear a Gospel message, along with praising the Lord in song. There are lots of short video clips shown, and it’s a high-energy time to come together and exalt the Lord Jesus.

Children’s Church meets every single service, and they have a sanctuary dedicated to kids at the back of the church. Children’s Church is a time for the Word of God to be sown into our children’s hearts and watch it grow and bring forth MUCH fruit! We are excited about kids at Victory Life, Sherman!
